“Sonder Bunsch for Jenny”: Porsche Taycan for Korean Superstars

Jennie Kim, also known as Jennie Ruby Jane or simply JENNIE, is a famous artist in Korea. She is 26 years old, and although he is a member of the girl group Black Pink, she has also won the hearts of many fans as her solo artist. Through Porsche Korea and the Sonderwunsch program, she built her personal dream car based on the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo. Subtle Meissenblue “Paint to Sample” highlights on her exterior and interior, as well as her handcrafted “Jennie Ruby Jane” logo, are just some of this car’s personality. The car painted in metallic black is called “Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for Jenny Ruby Jane”. The Sonderwunsch model will be presented at ‘Sonderwunsch Haus’ along with the start of BLACKPINK’s Seoul world tour. Inspirational collaborations and creative exchanges “Jenny had a very precise image of the Porsche of her dreams. So the collaboration was intense and inspiring. Working with international clients on these special projects is especially exciting and rewarding. In this case, we also faced some interesting challenges that motivated us to make our most creative wishes come true. Alexander Fabig, Vice President of Personalization and Classics at Porsche said: In a digital workshop that lasted several hours, the Sonderwunsch team from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and experts from the Style Porsche design department worked together with the artist every detail of the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo. The car was custom built in the Sonderwunsch department of the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur workshop in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. “Jenny is used to creative collaboration as an artist. She even brought to our meeting a mood board that visualized her initial ideas and reflected how they were received. She recalls Grant Larson. Larson has been with Style Porsche since 1989 and is responsible for the Sonderwunsch work within the design department as project manager for special projects. “It was an amazing experience to be able to collaborate intensively for a personal Porsche. We are proud to design cloud visualizations in particular. I spend a lot of time traveling around the world. The sky and clouds are my travel companions and are a beautiful symbol of this unique experience. So I feel a special bond with them and I am passionate about capturing these natural motifs in my photos. Jenny said. “It was an interesting experience to work with Jennie of Blackpink on Porsche Korea’s first Sonderwunsch project. JENNIE is an influential global icon representing young and creative thinking leaders and Korea’s Generation Z. I was impressed with his dedication and his ideas reflected in his very personal personality. With the new Sonderwunsch program, we are pursuing the goal of enabling people with very different lifestyles to realize their dream of the perfect sports car. Porsche Korea CEO Holger German said: A deliberately understated expression was chosen for the exterior of the Meissenblue Accent Taycan on the exterior and interior. Contrasting a metallic black finish, the 21-inch Exclusive Design wheels are painted Meissen Blue. The lettering “Electric” on the driver’s door, the model name on the rear and the cloud logo on the B-pillar are all special blue in the “Paint to Sample” program. The door sills feature ‘Jennie Ruby Jane’ lettering, while the rear door sills can be seen nicknamed ‘NiNi’. According to Jenny’s will, the current 911 generation (Type 992) Porsche typography was used. A logo projector on the front door projects the clouds onto the ground next to the car. The artist’s name and “Sonderwunsch” appear on the wheel cover. Inside, the combination of black, chalk and Meissen blue creates an elegant atmosphere. Only the seats and the top of the dashboard are on the choke. Meissenblue highlights the top center markings on the door panel trim, the edges of the vents, the cup holders and the steering wheel rim. The headrest is decorated with clouds drawn by Jenny. With this personal touch, special interior car covers are also created. photo: Porsche
