College Football Scores, Games, Updates: Michigan v Michigan Illinois, TCU v Baylor & More

Before enjoying competitive week glory, the Pac-12 will get a lot of the spotlight in Week 12. USC is the conference’s only team remaining in the college football playoff race and the challenging final leg has another great matchup in Eugene as Saturday night’s UCLA Oregon hosts Pac-12 title-impact Utah. And before the Pac-12 takes center stage late Saturday night, there are a few tricky spots for some high-ranking teams. This includes a trip to Waco for #3 Michigan and #4 TCU, which hosts Illinois, to face the defending Big 12 champion Baylor. (Note: All Time ET, BetMGM’s odds) Time: Noon | Television: ABC | Line: UM -17.5 | Total: 41.5 The Wolverines won 10-0 next week in a highly anticipated matchup against Ohio State. But before the trip to Columbus, Michigan will host an Illinois team that wants to act as a spoiler. Illinois went 7-1 and ranked 16th a few weeks ago, but has since lost back-to-back games to Michigan State and Purdue. The biggest issue will be the health of Illini as he counters Chase Brown, the best rusher in the country. He could go head-to-head with Michigan’s star RB Blake Corum. Time: Noon | TV: Fox | Line: TCU-2.5 | Total: 58TCU continues to find ways to win and should continue to do so to ensure their place in the 4-team playoffs. Seemingly week after week, TCU finds itself in a tight game against a Big 12 foe and comes out on the other side with a win. Could the Horned Frogs do it again in Waco on Saturday? Baylor won the Big 12 last year, but now it’s a long shot to get back to the conference title game. This could be about Baylor trying to wreck the TCU party. Time: 7:30pm | TV: SECN | Line: Ole Miss -2.5 | Total: 64Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin nearly gave his former boss Alabama’s Nick Saban the win, but the Rebels fell 30-24 in heartbreaking fashion. Now, the 8-2 Rebels are out of SEC West contention and must travel to take on Arkansas. Night games in Fayetteville are by no means easy, and Ole Miss will try to rely heavily on their running game year-round. Meanwhile, Arkansas is just 5-5 this year and needs to pull off upset and clinch bowl qualification. The story continues Time: 8pm | TV: Fox | Line: USC-2.5 | Total: 75.5 It’s a huge weekend in the Pac-12 as USC is the conference’s last remaining contender for the playoffs. USC’s offense, led by quarterback Caleb Williams, played at a high level. Its defense is not. A similar thing happened at UCLA. Still battling to reach the Pac-12 title game, the Bruins have an excellent running game led by QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson and RB Zach Charbonnet. These two should have a big night for UCLA to vent their upset, especially with the way the defense has struggled in recent weeks. Time: 10:30pm | TV: ESPN | Line: Utah -1.5 | Total: 61.5 Like the USC-UCLA game, this matchup is massive in the Pac-12 title race. Utah and Oregon are both 6-1 in conference play, a half game behind USC 7-1, and a game in front of UCLA and Washington, both 5-2. The QB injury will greatly affect this game. Utah QB Cam Rising looks like he’s back after missing a game a few weeks ago, but Oregon’s Bo Nix is ‚Äč‚Äčeven more of a question mark. He seems to have injured his foot or ankle late in his heartbreaking loss at Washington last week. The coaching staff has been mum about Nix’s status, but the fact that Oregon fell from a 3-point favorite to a 1.5-point underdog on Wednesday night speaks volumes. If Nix can’t go, Ty Thompson will get the nod in this important matchup.
