Prisco’s NFL Week 6 Pick: The Bills Playoff Misery vs. The Chiefs, Eagles survive the cowboys and remain perfect.

My selection on the toilet brought my prop selection to life this week. I went 9-1 with my props at CBS Sports HQ Monday night. So I have it. My choices are going in the opposite direction, unfortunately rancid backed sewers. I went 6-9-1 for spreads last week as an expert pick, and went 2-3 at my best as part of the Pick Six Podcast. I also went 10-6. My season record is 33-43-4 ATS, 43-36-1 straight and 14-13 my best bets. Do not worry. My choice this week. We’ll get back on track again. I promise. Thursday 8:20 PM EST (Amazon Prime) Suggested Games | Chicago Bears vs. Washington Commanders Dog game of the week. Are you really on national TV? Both teams have problems, but the Bears showed signs of life on offense last week. Still, Washington is a better team. Find the Washington defense in this game. Choose: Commanders 21, Bears 13 Sunday, 1pm EST (Fox, FuboTV) Recommended Games | Atlanta Falcons v. San Francisco 49ers The 49ers stayed in West Virginia after beating Carolina on the road this week. It will relieve the fatigue of travel. The Falcons came back last week against the Bucs to show off their real game. They’ve done it in every game they’ve played and will do it again here. The Falcons are running around. Pick: 49ers 23, Falcons Sunday 19, 1:00 PM EST (CBS, Paramount+) Suggested Games | Cleveland Browns v. New England Patriots Mac Jones is likely to return as the Patriots quarterback. If not, it’s Bailey Zapp again. The way the Browns defense plays may not matter. Cleveland will again use a running attack to move American football, but the New England defense is routing. No matter who plays quarterback, I think the Patriots will be close in this game. Choices: Browns 27, Patriots 26 Sunday 1pm ET (Fox, FuboTV) Suggested Games | Green Bay Packers vs. The New York Jets The Packers lost to the Giants in London last week, but returning home against the Jets will be a chance to get them back on track. The Jets were an amazing team, but this is the difficult point. Find a Green Bay defender who didn’t do well to do so here. Packers win pick: Packers 32, Jets 20 Sunday, 1pm ET (CBS, Paramount+) Featured Game | Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars The Jaguars shut out the Colts in week two. So they know they can stop the Colt. However, the Jaguars have a bad loss to the Texans and the Colts beat the Broncos last Thursday. Still, the Jaguar seems to have its own number. Jacksonville, Behind Defensive Pick: Jaguars 24, Colts 17 Sunday, 1 pm ET (Fox, FuboTV) Featured Game | Miami Dolphins vs. The Minnesota Vikings Dolphins must return Teddy Bridgewater as a quarterback against his former team. It will be of great help in the attack. Vikings can be affected by heat. But I think this will result in Minnesota’s attack on Miami’s bad defense. The Vikings win after Kirk Cousins, Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson. Choices: Vikings 30, Dolphins Sunday 24, 1:00 PM EST (CBS, Paramount+) Suggested Games | New Orleans Saints vs. Cincinnati Bengals The Bengals have lost their three tough games in the last few seconds and are on their second straight road game after losing to the Ravens. The Saints won behind Taysom Hill last week, but can you believe it every week? The Saints defense was disappointing, so Joe Burrow will return to Louisiana to win. Pick: Bengals 30, Saints 21Baltimore Ravens at New York Giants (+5.5)Sunday, 1pm ET (CBS, Paramount+) Recommended Games | New York Giants vs. Baltimore Ravens The Giants is 4-1 and this is another proof game. If you can limit Ravens and Lamar Jackson, you can win this game. Former Ravens defensive coordinator Wink Martindale will try to slow him down. I think he does. The Giants will also throw the ball. Close, but Ravens win late. Pick: Ravens 23, Giants 20 Sunday, 1 pm ET (Fox, FuboTV) Recommended Games | Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers This will be Kenny Pickett’s first home start. It won’t be easy against the Tampa Bay defense. He did some good things in Buffalo, but the game ended early. This will not be. The Bucks will be out late, but pickets and strikers will be better. Selection: Bucs 30, Steelers 21 Sunday, 4:05 PM ET (Fox, FuboTV) Recommended Games | Los Angeles Rams v. After Carolina Panthers Matt Rhule was fired, Steve Wilks took over as manager of the Panthers. Sometimes it can energize your team. But the Rams are just as desperate for a win as the Panthers. They are a better team and will show up here as Matthew Stafford finally has a good day. Pick: Rams 29, Panthers 16 Sunday, 4:05 PM ET (Fox, FuboTV) Recommended Games | Seattle Seahawks v. The Arizona Cardinals Seahawks had fun watching Geno Smith get off to a quick start. But the defense was terrible. The Arizona offense has had problems this season, but it’s a good spot to get things right. I think they will. This will be a shootout. Kyler Murray will have the best Seattle defense. Choices: Cardinals 34, Seahawks 30 Sunday, 4:25 ET (CBS, Paramount+) Recommended Games | Kansas City Chiefs v. Buffalo Bills This is Game of the Week and possibly Game of the Year. Both teams have high flying attacks. The shootout between Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen will be a treat to watch. Does either one stop? I doubt it. Hopefully this will be a classic like the playoff game the Chiefs won in overtime last January. In the last 13 seconds, the Bills had a chance to qualify for the Super Bowl. You win late this time. Choices: Bills 37, Chiefs 31 Sunday, 8:20 PM EST (NBC, FuboTV) Suggested Games | Philadelphia Eagles v. Dallas Cowboys is one of the best games of the week. The Cowboys’ defense against Eagles attacks determines this. The cowboy pass rush is fierce, but the Eagles can hit the ball to negate it and Jalen Hurts can move. This could be Dak Prescott of Dallas, but Cooper Rush did well otherwise. Still, the home’s Eagles are chosen. Pick: Eagles 27, Cowboys 20 Monday, 8:15 PM ET (ESPN, FuboTV) Recommended Games | Los Angeles Chargers vs. Denver Broncos The Chargers are back home with a two-game winning streak on the road. They played well on the road offensively, but the defense continues to have problems. The good news is that there are more Denver strikers. Russell Wilson did something bad and he hurt some. That’s important. Justin Herbert is the best. Pick: Chargers 25, Broncos 17
