Miniature Porsche 911 RSR Purple “Street Fighter” by Solido 1:18

Solido has released a new 1:18 version of their custom 1973 Porsche 911 RSR 2.8 and still a limited edition Purple Street Fighter. The miniature of this sporty coupe is personalized with a purple tint and black edging. Solido expands its range of custom vehicles called “Street Fighter”. After a few models (BMW M3 E30, Mini Cooper Sport, Volkswagen Caddy Mk.1 Kamei tribute), it’s time for the Porsche 911 RSR to experience a new customization on the “Outlaw” theme with a stunning purple tint. This model is not a novelty, but a variant of the previous model, which has achieved great success among collectors. This new emblem gives the real Porsche 911 RSR an extra touch. Solido brought a small touch of personalization with new decorations, especially in terms of stickers. The left rear window is engraved with the words “Outlaw” (Outlaw). The term has been used for several years in the Restomod based on the Porsche 911 announced via the Magnus Walker. The opposite window emphasizes the origins of the Stuttgart-made car with a “Straight outta Stuttgart” sticker. The American-style rear license plate recalls the vehicle name “911 RSR” in a personalized type. Regarding the bodywork, we find the proportions of a real Porsche 911 RSR, along with many details that characterize the model. The bonnet has Porsche lettering, as well as Carrera RS lettering in homage to the standard older sister. The front features the bumper of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 with integrated grille for the front radiator. The hood closure strap is marked the same as the back. The Fuchs rims are painted matte black and covered with much thicker sidewall tires to give the impression of a vehicle designed for drag racing. Turning the miniature into metal makes the customization of the model clear with fairly wide tires. The side sills and door sills feature the famous Carrera headbands. The headlights and lights are very well reproduced with attention to detail. This is especially visible from the back. When the doors open perfectly, a significant portion of the passenger compartment and its custom configuration are revealed. This vehicle is particularly competitive-oriented, with half-cage arches painted in Purle (reminiscent of the exterior color), a red fire extinguisher behind the passenger seat, and Recaro bucket seats with integrated Sabelt harness summarized via decals. . Don’t forget the dashboard. The area surrounding the counter is also purple, as are the floors and interior floors. It’s a nod to the race car stripped from the inside. Note the reproduction of the pedals molded from mass and painted in an aluminum style. With this stylish personalization model, Solido offers a new version of the attractive and exclusive Porsche 911 RSR. The quality and originality of the paint makes the lines of the body stand out and sets it apart from other cars with a dull color. This well-crafted miniature will enchant Porsche lovers and lovers of personalized vehicles, especially at the price included in the limited edition. Small Details Unlike other miniatures, negative details are emphasized. This has to do with the plastic exterior rearview mirrors and the very thin fasteners are very fragile. No matter how careful you are, you only need to be careful when combing and breaking. An unfortunate thing happened to us during this photo shoot. A little glue is applied and the repair is easy. The Solido 1:18 miniature of the 1973 Porsche 911 RSR “Purple Street Fighter” will be sold in spring 2022 in specialty retailers and select toy stores as the reference S1801114, with a suggested price of 44.95 euros. In particular, you can join the 2020 Porsche 911 RSR Backdating Miniature or the 2022 Porsche 911 RSR Gulf. Photo:
